Dungeon Brawler is my attempt at doing a LitRPG reincarnation. When putting it together, I started with a few objectives - a simple system that was slow to progress, but had a lot of potential, a main character who is older and reincarnates with that older viewpoint and making him a 'monk' character. No actual weapons, just fists.
The rest - the world, the way the religions and the Core and how everyone else has a different Skill works came as I wrote. It's the usual way that I work, having a vague idea of what I wanted to do for the start and an idea of the end. This isn't going to be an extremely long series - there's 5 books, and then it's done. What I intend to do, though, is rapid release the work.
It's why I pushed the release of the first book back. It'll mean when this book comes out, I'll already have written three books in their entirety and am hard at work on the fourth, with the fifth to come out soon after. No major delays for you - the reader - and less stress for me.
I hope you enjoy Lin's journey. I have an objective at the end, that I think will be rather satisfying and, hopefully, interesting. Thank you, once again for being a part of this release.
